Hi everyone and thank you for checking out my campaign for my graphic novel, 1000. This project has been around for half of my life. From back in the day of 1995 to now. To see its many variations to where it is now is a testament to how creating something from nothing can almost feel like raising children. Like any proud parent, you can not help but reflect on when things started to where they are now.
The old saying it takes a village rings true. On that note, I can't help but thank a few people who helped this project get to this point. Tom Akel for wanting to see this project go beyond, Chuck Brown for giving the project new life, and Bruce Brown (my brotha from another) who was the spark that got this going to begin with. Without him, this would've never been in existence. A very special thanks to all those who loved and supported this project and its many interactions! I am grateful that all of you have made it possible for this journey to bring us to this point. However, it's safe to say, stay tuned.

Set in a modern world of aliens, warlocks, zombies, and ancient beasts, 1000 follows Dragon Son - a supreme entity who’s abandoned all creation as he struggles to return to his true Dragon form by completing 1,000 acts of repentance. Son is joined by five other agents who are charged with secretly policing the world and keeping civilization from crumbling completely.
1000 first premiered as a webcomic and won the 2018 Ringo Award for Best Webcomic. This deluxe edition collects the entire run of the webcomic with additional behind-the-scenes goodies, all printed in a 9”x9” graphic novel that is available in both softcover and hardcover formats -- over 150 pages of content!

Please note that shipping costs are NOT included in your pledge and you will pay actual shipping during the post-campaign survey phase. The fulfillment company is based in Portland, Oregon USA so shipping will vary depending on weight, size, and in the case of international orders, region.
These countries and regions are currently embargoed by the US and we cannot ship to them:
Belarus, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Sudan, Syria, The Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine
With that said, we can provide some preliminary ESTIMATES. Issues with the USPS can impact issues with the Royal Mail, Canadian Mail, and so on, as can the constantly changing rules in the EU. Fluxes around holiday seasons can also change these estimates.
The softcover books are generally a little over 1 lb, while the hardcover omnibus with slipcases are close to 2.5 lbs. It is estimated that reward tiers will weigh in the "Up to 2 lbs" or "Up to 4 lbs" range. This number could be higher depending on items added to an order.
Backers are responsible for any VAT, import duties, taxes or other fees and are not included in shipping. We recommend inquiring with your country's customs office to determine whether there will be additional fees.
NOTE: Prices are subject to change. Weight in US pounds (LBS). Orders beyond 8lbs will have higher shipping fees.
The estimated fulfillment date for this project is July of 2025. This date is based on our anticipated production schedule. They are not guaranteed and, as this is described as ESTIMATES. Once we finish surveys and all add-ons are locked we go into production on those items and will provide campaign updates throughout the process. Should dates shift, which is not uncommon, we will provide new estimated delivery dates in updates. Please note that no date provided should be considered a locked and promised date until we have the books at the warehouse, and until such time all estimated dates are subject to change.
